To round off a weekend of Te Arawa haka excellence, record crowd attendance and celebrating our people, we’re excited to share the six qualifying kapa who will represent Te Arawa at Te Matatini 2027 ki Hopuhopu.

  • 1st Equal: Te Pikikōtuku o Ngāti Rongomai & Te Kapa Haka o Ngāti Whakaue

  • 3rd: Te Hekenga-ā-Rangi

  • 4th: Ngāti Rangiwewehi

  • 5th: Te Whare Haka o Te Puku

  • 6th: Te Kapa Haka o Tūhourangi Ngāti Wāhiao
